Introduction

Hello World!  I thought I would try out this blogging thing. 

Allow me to intoduce myself.  My name is Nakia.  I am a 34 year old woman, who is married with 2 children.  I am creating this blog as an expression, a diary even, as I am embarking on a journey of self discovery.  This year, 2012, has been the hardest year of my life.  I have buried my father, faced my own health issues, and like most people, dealt with this troubled economy.  And now as the year draws to a close, I wonder what else is in store for me?  Am I in the right career?  What else should I or could I be doing?  What can I learn from what I have been through thus far?  There has to be something more for me!

My faith has been tested in so many ways, yet I am still standing.  God must have something in store for me...but what? 

That's where this blog/diary starts, and who knows where this journey will take me.  I am determined to find that something more, that purpose, that fountain that I have yet to tap into.  I am determined to find me in all the madness.  This blog will share personal stories and lessons that I learn along this journey.  I will probably also just write about current events and issues that we face everyday.  This is a place for growth and change!
